About the role
TL;DR
Senior DataOps Engineer to maintain and improve a scalable data platform.
- •We are looking for a Senior DataOps Engineer to join the Data and AI Platform team.
- •Your mission will be to improve and maintain an efficient, reliable and scalable platform that enables Data Product developers and owners to develop, deploy and maintain their data products autonomously.
- •Key Responsibilities Maintain the Data Product Controller for automated data product management.
- •Maintain the Data and AI Platform orchestrator (Dagster) for decentralized data product orchestration.
- •Monitor the data platform for performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- •Offer observability components for cost, data quality, and data lineage insights.
- •Monitor platform costs and identify optimization opportunities.
- •Requirements More than 5 years of experience as a DataOps Engineer or similar role.
- •Strong proficiency in data engineering and infrastructure tools (Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
- •Expertise in programming languages like Python.
- •Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).
- •Excellent problem-solving skills.
