About the role
TL;DR
Engineer responsible for fleet uptime, performance, and reliability of global ground stations.
- •Northwood is building a global network of phased array ground stations.
- •This role is for a Fleet Operations & Reliability Engineer who will be the first line of defense for all operations on the network, ensuring uptime and performance of deployed hardware worldwide.
- •Key Responsibilities Own fleet uptime and performance, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting a global network of antennas.
- •Operate and grow the Network Operations Center, monitoring site health and driving incident response.
- •Lead hardware deployment campaigns at remote sites globally.
- •Drive root cause analysis on failures and implement fixes to reduce recurrence.
- •Scale the global contractor ecosystem for maintenance and sparing strategies.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
- •Experience building, testing, operating, or diagnosing complex electrical or mechanical systems.
- •Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines and diverse teams.
- •Experience operating hardware systems in a live environment.
- •Hands-on field experience with proficiency using tools and diagnostics.
