- •Datadog is seeking a Team Lead for its Strategic Sourcing group to expand its capabilities in IT, SaaS, and Hardware procurement.
- •This role will be instrumental in driving value through expert negotiation and strategic planning.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead strategic sourcing for enterprise SaaS and IT categories.
- •Own software license and subscription strategy, optimizing entitlements and demand planning.
- •Manage the IT hardware procurement team, balancing demand with growth and leveraging supplier relationships.
- •Transform IT Procurement from transactional to strategic, standardizing processes and establishing KPIs.
- •Develop strong stakeholder relationships and negotiate terms with vendors.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing with a history of negotiated savings in IT, SaaS, and hardware.
- •Deep experience in the IT hardware supply chain, including OEM/distributor management and inventory planning.
- •Experience in a high-growth company environment.
- •Proficient in analyzing and presenting complex data to executives.
- •Proven track record of creating strong partnerships with stakeholders.
