IT Security Engineer II

Design, engineer, and deploy security solutions across the corporate environment.

• •FloQast is seeking a Security Engineer to join their IT Operations team.
• •This role will be instrumental in designing, engineering, and deploying security solutions across the corporate environment, acting as a subject matter expert and ensuring security best practices are integrated into high-impact projects.
• •Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain corporate IT security systems in partnership with IT teams.
• •Conduct security reviews for third-party vendors and contractors, and audit SaaS systems.
• •Triage and analyze security events and incidents, escalating issues as needed.
• •Assist with vulnerability management, compliance attestations, and risk assessments.
• •Maintain and secure internal corporate endpoints (macOS and Windows).
• •Requirements 4-6 years of experience as a Security Engineer or IT security professional.
• •Proficiency in scripting and querying for technical decisions and auditable changes.
• •Foundational understanding of network and application fundamentals (HTTP/S, DNS, VPN, SAML, OAuth).
