Senior Research Software Engineer

Develop and maintain research software for quantum computing, networking, and sensing.

• •Build and maintain scalable, reliable research software to enable scientists working on quantum computing, networking, and sensing; improve software architecture, SDLC practices, and system observability.
• •Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and support R&D software ensuring stability and performance.
• •Own SDLC for R&D codebases: triage bugs, fix regressions, and improve code health.
• •Improve observability and system reliability.
• •Shape software architecture and mentor team members.
• •Requirements Senior-level software engineering experience building researcher-facing tools.
• •Experience with software development lifecycle, debugging, and reliability practices.
• •Strong programming and engineering fundamentals (e.g., Python, Linux, Git).
