About the role
TL;DR
Protect the organization from cyber threats by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
- •As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats.
- •You will work closely with other IT and cyber security professionals to monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber security incidents.
- •Key Responsibilities Continuously monitor network traffic, system logs, and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- •Respond to and investigate cyber security alerts, data breaches, and network intrusions.
- •Conduct reviews of vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
- •Create and address cyber security tickets and contribute to reports for management reviews and compliance audits.
- •Collaborate with IT and product development teams to support cyber security operations and risk mitigations.
- •Requirements Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
- •Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) is strongly desired.
- •Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- •Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- •Bachelors degree or 4+ years equivalent combination of experience in a related field.
