• •Cognism is seeking an experienced Director of R&D Operations for a fixed-term contract (maternity cover).
• •This role is responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing the operational infrastructure for the R&D organization, ensuring peak efficiency and alignment with strategic priorities.
• •Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable processes for product development, research, and engineering workflows.
• •Establish best-in-class processes and implement robust tooling to enhance efficiency.
• •Foster cross-functional collaboration and drive continuous improvement across product and engineering teams.
• •Provide light-touch technical program oversight for complex initiatives.
• •Ensure consistent delivery, predictable execution, and strategic focus through systems, processes, and governance.
• •Requirements Proven experience in operational strategy and process excellence within an R&D or engineering context.
• •Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and operational best practices.
• •Experience in implementing and optimizing operational tooling and systems.
