About the role
TL;DR
Manage major components of nuclear power plant projects from design through commissioning.
- •Blue Energy is seeking a Project Manager to oversee major components of their innovative nuclear power plant projects.
- •This role involves managing sub-projects, teams, and specific scope areas from design through commissioning, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage the full delivery cycle of major owner-supplied equipment packages.
- •Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- •Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets, escalating risks or delays.
- •Conduct site visits to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
- •Prepare reports, presentations, and project status updates for management.
- •Requirements 15+ years of qualified experience in project execution (EPC experience preferred).
- •Ability to prepare documents using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- •Willingness to travel when needed and work from Project Construction site or other Company offices.
- •Knowledge of EPC project lifecycle and interfaces between engineering, procurement, permitting, QA, HSSE and construction.
- •Understanding of project control management basics such as earned value tracking, P6 scheduling, and cost tracking and forecasting.
