Director of Business Development Financial Services (EU)

Develop business partnerships with Dutch and EU fintechs to enable US brokerage accounts.

• •We are looking for an experienced Director of Business Development to help build our European operations from the ground up.
• •Key Responsibilities Work closely with the founding team to build and launch our regulated business in the Netherlands and EU.
• •Identify, meet with and enter into partnerships with Dutch and EU fintechs and financial service companies.
• •Supervise the passporting and offer of our services into other EU jurisdictions.
• •Implement and supervise governance, compliance and risk management structures in line with MiFID II regulations.
• •Serve as a designated policymaker, subject to AFM fit and proper assessment.
• •Requirements Demonstrated experience and success in business development including recruiting business partners and successfully closing engagements.
• •Proven understanding of the financial services industry, including Dutch financial regulation and the AFM supervisory process. 7+ years’ experience in financial services (brokerage, fintech, bank or investment firm).
• •Fluent in Dutch and English.
