About the role
TL;DR
Develop high-performance search algorithms for mobile and automotive devices.
- •Join the Offline Search team to build a high-performance search engine for mobile and automotive devices.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, code, and optimize core search algorithms for on-device execution.
- •Implement advanced tile compression techniques and efficient delta update pipelines.
- •Collaborate with R&D and backend teams to integrate data processing pipelines.
- •Engage with automotive OEMs and suppliers to understand hardware specifications and troubleshoot integration challenges.
- •Monitor system telemetry to evaluate performance tradeoffs and drive continuous improvements.
- •Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- •Strong proficiency in C++ with a solid understanding of memory management, multi-threading, and systems-level programming.
- •Experience with Python or other scripting languages commonly used for tooling, data processing, or test automation.
- •Proven experience analyzing and optimizing code for performance-constrained environments.
- •Excellent communication skills in English, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
