- •CoreWeave is seeking a Staff Storage Engineer to design, build, and operate the file and block storage for their AI storage platform.
- •You will create scalable, high-throughput systems for AI workloads, collaborating with infrastructure and compute teams.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement a scalable multi-tenant control plane for AI storage and cloud infrastructure.
- •Develop exabyte-scale, S3-compatible object storage and distributed file systems.
- •Optimize storage performance using technologies like RDMA and GPU Direct Storage.
- •Improve the reliability, durability, and observability of the storage stack.
- •Collaborate with operations teams to monitor and optimize storage systems.
- •Requirements 10+ years of experience in storage systems engineering or infrastructure.
- •Hands-on experience with object storage or distributed filesystems (e.g., Ceph, DAOS).
- •Proficiency in Go, C++, or Rust.
- •Familiarity with storage observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- •Solid understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes.
