- •Key Responsibilities Draft and refine adverse determination reasons and related communications in plain language.
- •Collaborate with clinicians and policy writers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- •Translate complex medical and policy content into clear, patient-centered language.
- •Ensure all communications comply with regulatory requirements and are implemented within project deadlines.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Public Health, Nursing, or related field. 5+ years of experience in medical writing, patient communications, or health literacy required.
- •Experience with clinical policy, utilization management, or payer environment required.
- •Knowledge of health literacy principles and plain language standards.
- •Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
