Build and maintain integrations for Cohere's AI workspace platform, enabling seamless data and tool connectivity.
- •Cohere is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Integrations to join their North AI workspace platform team.
- •This role focuses on building and maintaining the systems that allow users to integrate their data and tools with Cohere's AI agents.
- •Key Responsibilities Build new integrations (tools) on the North agentic platform and maintain existing ones.
- •Own the integration pipeline from design to shipping and ongoing maintenance.
- •Assist other engineers in adding integrations and improve the team's integration process.
- •Create evaluations and tests to ensure integration quality and detect regressions.
- •Tune tool descriptions to enhance performance based on feedback and evaluations.
- •Requirements Shipped production code and experience building integrations against external APIs.
- •Experience evaluating agentic systems, or familiarity with evaluations, prompt engineering, and tool-description tuning.
- •Ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
- •High agency, quick learning, and proactive drive for change.
- •Proven track record of owning projects end-to-end and commitment to quality.
