- •Cohere is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the North Tools & Retrieval team.
- •This role will focus on building and maintaining features across the full stack for Cohere's AI workspace platform, North, which helps enterprises utilize AI securely.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, ship, and maintain features across the full stack for roadmap surfaces including file upload and management, knowledge bases, agent extensibility, and data sync pipelines.
- •Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, launch, and iteration.
- •Write minimal code for low-resource environments with stringent deployment mechanisms, prioritizing security and privacy.
- •Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and the modeling team to validate requirements and prototype quickly.
- •Raise the engineering bar through patterns, testing discipline, code review, and mentoring.
- •Requirements Shipped significant full-stack code (Python and React) in production.
- •Excels in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
- •Strong coding abilities and comfort working across the full stack.
- •Experience building and deploying performant client-side or server-side RAG/agentic applications.
- •Thinks like a product owner and prioritizes user experience.
