About the role
TL;DR
Design and build AI-powered solutions for industrial digitalization.
- •As an AI Engineer at Cognite, you will design and build complex AI-powered solutions, including agentic systems, user-facing applications, and intelligent workflows, deployed in real customer environments.
- •You will collaborate closely with customer teams, internal stakeholders, and product engineering to bring solutions from concept to production.
- •Key Responsibilities Own deployments end-to-end, building cross-stack solutions using Cognite Data Fusion and agentic frameworks.
- •Design and implement multi-agent systems that combine LLMs, tool use, evaluation loops, and reasoning over industrial data.
- •Collaborate with technical teams on-site to refine use cases and integrate solutions into production environments.
- •Shape the product by feeding learnings and customer feedback into the product roadmap.
- •Requirements Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and related techniques.
- •Strong full-stack engineering skills with experience across the stack (React/TypeScript frontend, Python/Kotlin backend). 3+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, AI solution architecture, or similar roles, including direct customer-facing work.
- •Experience building LLM-driven or agentic systems (e.g., using LangChain or similar frameworks).
- •Clear communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
