Lead technical security strategy for products and corporate environment.
- •Cognism is seeking a Director of Security Engineering & Operations to lead the technical security strategy for its web and data products, and corporate environment.
- •This role reports directly to the CISO and is responsible for protecting the company's most sensitive assets.
- •Key Responsibilities Define and own the technical security strategy, embedding security-by-design principles.
- •Partner with product and technology leadership to drive security maturity and alignment.
- •Set and direct a secure SDLC strategy, including threat modeling and vulnerability management.
- •Strengthen the security of data pipelines, warehouses, and AI/LLM integrations.
- •Lead a team of security engineers and foster a strong security culture.
- •Requirements Experience building or transforming security programs in a product-led, engineering-first company.
- •Strong AppSec expertise with practical threat modeling experience.
- •Hands-on understanding of data security and cloud security.
- •Working knowledge of AI/LLM security risks.
- •Ability to communicate risk effectively to technical and business audiences.
