Maintain fleet maintenance and support rapid response and restoration services.
•Our client is a premier utility company specializing in rapid response and storm chasing to utility companies and contractors.
•We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain our fleet maintenance while supporting our rapid response and restoration services.
•Key Responsibilities Regularly review preventative maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are being maintained according to schedule.
•Diagnoses minor mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable.
•Oversees and leads the emergency response maintenance and repairs as needed.
•Ensure repairs are efficiently addressed to maintain asset availability for projects, jobs, and emergency responses.
•Assist in enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure the safe operation of fleet vehicles and equipment.
•Requirements Certifications in commercial fleet maintenance, as well as a minimum of 5 years proven fleet maintenance experience.
•Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules, hands-on experience in diesel engine and/or heavy vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and safety compliance.
•Excellent communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
