- •Cockroach Labs is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to lead the CockroachDB Efficient & Always-on Transactions user journey.
- •This role involves defining strategy, product direction, and measurable outcomes for globally consistent, highly available, scalable, and low-latency transactions.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end journey of CockroachDB's performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and multi-region capabilities.
- •Build a problem-first, data-driven strategy to address customer pain points and define a balanced roadmap.
- •Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to guide prioritization and drive data-backed decisions.
- •Set the standard for CockroachDB functionality by ensuring it supports a fully always-on, multi-region database experience.
- •Define metrics to measure improvements in price-performance, multi-region survivability, plan stability, and support ticket ratios.
- •Requirements Strong systems thinking and problem definition skills.
- •Experience with TCO benchmarks, latency distributions, and efficiency metrics.
- •Ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to guide prioritization and validate hypotheses.
- •Cross-functional leadership experience.
- •Deep understanding of the economic and operational pain points of customers using CockroachDB.
