TL;DR
Lead Data Onboarding product for CockroachDB, making migrations predictable and AI-enhanced.
- •Lead the end-to-end Data Onboarding product for CockroachDB to make database migrations predictable, low-friction, and AI-enhanced, reducing time-to-production and reliance on services.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the full migration journey from schema introspection to data load and cutover across source databases.
- •Define metrics for migration completion, time-to-value, and customer support signals.
- •Design AI-native tooling and make decisions about model hosting and economics.
- •Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and professional services to improve onboarding.
- •Requirements Proven product management experience owning complex, end-to-end technical workflows.
- •Deep familiarity with database migrations and source databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
- •Experience designing or shipping AI/LLM-powered developer tooling or workflows.
- •Strong customer-centric, data-driven strategy and metrics orientation.
