• •AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Staff iOS Engineer to set technical direction for mobile quality at scale.
• •This role involves shaping architecture, quality standards, and engineering foundations for iPhone and iPad, while influencing how mobile integrates with backend platforms and other product systems.
• •Key Responsibilities Define architecture, standards, and technical direction for iOS systems to ensure speed, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• •Lead system design using Swift, SwiftUI, and Swift concurrency to translate complex problems into production-ready systems.
• •Scale reliability and execution practices by shaping how mobile work is designed, reviewed, tested, shipped, and operated.
• •Define and drive standards for client-serving APIs, backend service boundaries, and authentication flows.
• •Mentor and multiply impact at Staff+ level by elevating engineers through architecture reviews and technical guidance.
• •Requirements Deep expertise in iOS platform architecture, modular design, performance, security, reliability, SwiftUI, and modern Swift concurrency.
• •Ability to reason across application and platform systems, including backend API behavior and release risks.
• •Experience shaping client-serving API strategy or backend service boundaries.
