About the role
TL;DR
Seeking a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to manage and maintain PostgreSQL and MySQL databases on AWS.
- •We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Reliability Engineer with a strong focus on AWS RDS PostgreSQL, complemented by experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform and familiarity with RedShift and Clickhouse.
- •Key Responsibilities Own the provisioning, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of PostgreSQL and MySQL instances across AWS RDS and on-premises.
- •Design and implement automated failover solutions, load balancing configurations, and DNS management strategies.
- •Write and maintain Terraform code to provision and manage database infrastructure.
- •Requirements 5+ years of proven experience as a Database Administrator or Database Engineer, with hands-on depth in PostgreSQL and MySQL in production environments.
- •Solid Terraform experience
- •you've written and maintained IaC.
- •Working knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and deployment automation.
