About the role
TL;DR
Technical and Reporting Accountant to support IPO readiness and financial reporting.
- •Canonical is seeking a Technical and Reporting Accountant with IFRS experience to support its planned IPO.
- •This role involves researching accounting standards, advising on complex transactions, and ensuring compliance.
- •Key Responsibilities Research and interpret new and existing accounting standards.
- •Provide technical accounting advice for complex transactions.
- •Assist with year-end external audit and month-end reporting processes.
- •Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- •Support the preparation of statutory accounts and annual reports.
- •Requirements Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CPA, etc.).
- •Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
- •Experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
- •Experience at a large public accounting firm or public multinational corporate accounting department preferred.
- •NetSuite or similar enterprise grade systems experience.
