About the role
TL;DR
Analyze energy efficiency program data and develop methodologies for energy savings.
- •At E Source, we help utilities make sense of complexity in a rapidly changing landscape, and we’re looking for an Associate Engineer to support our work with utility energy efficiency programs across the country.
- •Key Responsibilities Analyze energy efficiency program data using Excel and other tools.
- •Evaluate and develop methodologies and algorithms to determine electric and fossil fuel savings for residential, commercial, and industrial energy efficiency technologies and programs.
- •Calculate energy and demand savings associated with prescriptive and custom energy efficiency measures implemented in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- •Conduct on-site verification of energy efficiency measures.
- •Produce high-quality reports and presentations based on engineering methods and findings.
- •Requirements Hold a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering, physics, environmental sciences, or a related field.
- •Have completed coursework, projects, or professional experience related to energy consumption, energy efficiency, clean energy, or sustainability in the built environment.
- •Have an understanding of the engineering principles underlying building energy use.
- •Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have some familiarity with Python.
- •Are detail-oriented with strong attention to quality assurance.
