TL;DR
Lead global software engineering strategy, execution, and innovation for semiconductor equipment.
- •As Director of Software Engineering, you will lead ASM’s global software engineering strategy and execution across multiple product lines and technology platforms.
- •You will be responsible for shaping the future of semiconductor equipment software, driving innovation, and enabling scalable, high-performance solutions.
- •Key Responsibilities Define and execute the global software engineering strategy aligned with ASM’s business objectives.
- •Build and lead a world-class software engineering organization across multiple global sites.
- •Partner with Product Management, Hardware Engineering, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- •Oversee execution of multiple concurrent software programs, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
- •Guide software architecture decisions to support modularity, reuse, and future extensibility.
- •Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in leadership roles.
- •Proven track record of leading large-scale software organizations and delivering complex products.
- •Strong background in C++ and modern software development practices.
- •Experience with software architecture, release planning, and baseline management.
