About the role
TL;DR
Design, build, and maintain critical user-facing products and backend systems.
- •Join our engineering team to scale our platform and build new products.
- •Work closely with Co-founders and senior engineers.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain critical user-facing products and backend systems.
- •Contribute to and help evolve our core backend architecture, focusing on scalability and performance.
- •Collaborate closely with product, operations, and leadership to align technical solutions with business needs.
- •Drive best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- •Play a key role in shaping engineering culture, contributing to hiring efforts, and potentially mentoring or leading other engineers over time.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in web development.
- •Strong backend development skills with a preference for full stack engineers.
- •Proven ability to create scalable performant solutions within aggressive deadlines.
- •Proven experience working in Ruby (or similar backend languages or willingness to learn), with the ability to ramp up quickly in our stack.
- •Comfortable working across the stack, with React/Next.js and TypeScript strongly preferred.
