TL;DR
Build and scale Go services for insurance agent tools, taking on architectural leadership.
- •Bestow is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with Go experience to join their Pre-Sales Tools team.
- •This role will focus on building and scaling services that power agent quoting, configuration, and application submission tools, directly impacting revenue.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and scale Go services for agent quoting and application submission tools.
- •Partner closely with App & Checkout teams due to tight coupling.
- •Take on architectural leadership and propose direction for the team.
- •Resolve partner-specific edge cases as distribution partners and volume scale.
- •Write unit and integration tests, and peer review code.
- •Requirements 5+ years of professional backend software development experience.
- •Professional experience with Go and owning services end-to-end.
- •Experience with distributed systems or microservices, and designing APIs (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, Protocol Buffers).
- •Experience using Docker and CI/CD as a default practice.
- •Demonstrated fluency using AI coding tools in real engineering work.
