- •Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Director, Analytics Systems to manage their Analytics Systems Team.
- •This team is responsible for building and maintaining the company's Analytics Suite products, developing tooling for data curation and analysis, and enabling scalable computation of biomarker features.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage 6-10 engineers, coaching them for growth and guiding them through challenges.
- •Develop and share a deep understanding of the team's activity and products for continuous improvement.
- •Act as a steward of engineering practices, maintaining high bars for quality, productivity, and accountability.
- •Help the team scope and prioritize tactical work aligned with strategic initiatives.
- •Ensure the team's long-term development roadmap is outcome-oriented and aligned with company objectives.
- •Requirements 6+ years of management experience, familiar with managing mid
- •to large-sized analytics engineering teams.
- •Experience in analytics engineering (dbt, SQLMesh), data modeling and pipelines (Snowflake, Databricks, Argo, Airflow), and BI tooling (Superset, Looker, Tableau).
- •Experience working in the medical device space, clinical diagnostics, real-world-data, pharma/biotech, or related fields.
- •Experience working in a regulated industry, navigating agile development and design controls.
