Senior Software Engineer, Enforce - Safety Processing

Develop and maintain systems for enforcing safety decisions at scale.

• •The Enforce Squad builds systems that turn safety decisions into actions (bans, removals, reporting) and stabilizes enforcement infrastructure at scale.
• •Key Responsibilities Own high-impact projects end-to-end in a distributed system.
• •Improve production services processing millions of enforcement decisions daily.
• •Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and troubleshoot complex multi-service issues.
• •Collaborate with Trust & Safety, Policy, ML, Data Science, and Legal teams.
• •Requirements 4+ years backend software engineering experience.
• •Strong programming skills in Python.
• •Experience building and operating distributed systems (GCP, PostgreSQL, Redis, Pub/Sub, gRPC).
• •Adversarial thinking and experience in on-call rotations.
