• •Shield AI is seeking a Senior Staff Cybersecurity Engineer to build secure defaults and engineer guardrails as code for their platform.
• •This role involves embedding security into the software and infrastructure supply chain and setting technical direction for secure-by-default practices.
• •Key Responsibilities Build secure defaults using Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD templates, and internal libraries.
• •Engineer guardrails as code, including policy-as-code and admission controllers.
• •Own and develop platform security tooling for other teams.
• •Embed security into the software and infrastructure supply chain.
• •Engineer workload and service identity controls for least privilege.
• •Requirements Extensive experience in security engineering, platform/infrastructure engineering, or DevSecOps.
• •Strong software engineering ability with production-quality code experience.
• •Hands-on experience building secure-by-default mechanisms like Infrastructure-as-Code and policy-as-code.
