- •Base is hiring a specialist to build and manage Base’s relationships with local governments and regulators across the country.
- •The role entails becoming the face of Base to mayors, city councils, municipal leaders, and local stakeholders.
- •Key Responsibilities Own Base’s local-government affairs strategy across assigned regions and markets.
- •Represent Base as the primary point of contact with local governments.
- •Identify policy barriers or opportunities at the local level and recommend solutions.
- •Develop and pitch coalition strategies that connect local government priorities with Base’s products.
- •Requirements 2-3 years of experience in local government relations, community organizing, public affairs, or campaign work.
- •Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- •Comfort with ambiguity and strong project-management discipline.
- •Self-starter instincts and genuine interest in understanding communities.
