TL;DR
Shape regulatory landscape to advance energy reliability and affordability nationwide.
- •As the Head of Regulatory Policy, you’ll shape the regulatory landscape across States to advance our mission of increasing energy reliability and affordability nationwide.
- •You’ll drive advocacy efforts at the regional level, engaging with policymakers, regulators, and industry stakeholders to promote policies that enable our residential batteries to support consumers and the grid.
- •Key Responsibilities Develop and lead our regulatory strategy across States to advance Base’s mission.
- •Build and maintain relationships with energy commissioners, principals and staff at RTOs and ISOs, and other policymakers.
- •Monitor and analyze federal legislative and regulatory developments relevant to Base.
- •Represent Base in national coalitions, meetings and hearings, and stakeholder forums.
- •Collaborate with internal teams to align policy initiatives with business objectives.
- •Requirements 5+ years of experience in the energy sector.
- •Strong network within energy and policy circles.
- •Track record of influencing policy outcomes, ideally in energy, utilities, or technology sectors.
- •Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- •An entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in ambiguity.
