Lead facilities operations and power generation for xAI’s hyperscale AI compute facilities.

• •Lead facilities operations and power generation for xAI’s hyperscale AI compute facilities, ensuring 24/7 uptime and reliability across power, cooling, and fiber networks.
• •Key Responsibilities Lead and scale facilities, power generation, and fiber teams for mission-critical data center infrastructure.
• •Manage design, deployment, maintenance, and expansion of high-speed fiber and power systems.
• •Own uptime, MTTD/MTTR, PUE/WUE, and infrastructure availability targets.
• •Implement SOPs, preventive maintenance, incident response, and continuous improvement programs.
• •Manage budgets, vendors, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
• •Requirements 5+ years in data center/hyperscale facilities or power generation operations with 2+ years managerial experience.
• •Experience with fiber optic networks and high-bandwidth connectivity.
• •Deep knowledge of power generation, MEP, liquid cooling, UPS, and BMS/SCADA.
• •Hands-on leadership, CMMS proficiency, and 24/7 operations experience.
