Senior Data Intelligence Engineer

Build the intelligence layer for Deepgram's voice AI platform.

• •As the founding engineer of the Data Intelligence team, you will build the "nervous system" for Deepgram's AI agents, creating API-based tools, dbt models, and semantic layers that enable autonomous data navigation.
• •This role is crucial for driving NRR and operational excellence by building the intelligence layer for Deepgram's voice AI platform.
• •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain high-fidelity dbt and SQL models for complex revenue models.
• •Develop tools and permissions frameworks for AI agents to query data and identify issues.
• •Serve as a technical bridge to ensure data contracts are "agent-ready" and reliable.
• •Ingest and process internal calls to turn unstructured audio into queryable insights.
• •Foster a culture of automation, viewing manual tasks as bugs to be solved.
• •Requirements 5+ years in high-growth Data or AI Engineering roles.
• •Mastery of SQL and production-grade Python, with experience building RAG or Agentic systems.
• •Familiarity with usage-based SaaS metrics like consumption patterns and NRR.
