Senior Software Engineer, Semantic Layer

Design and maintain MetricFlow features for the dbt Semantic Layer.

• •Join the Semantic Layer team to contribute to MetricFlow, an open-source semantic engine powering the dbt Semantic Layer.
• •Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain core features of MetricFlow.
• •Own MetricFlow as an open-source project, managing releases and community engagement.
• •Collaborate with dbt Cloud, dbt Core, and Semantic Layer service teams.
• •Requirements Experience with metric definitions, query compilation, and SQL generation.
• •Ability to improve performance, reliability, and observability of metric query execution.
• •Strong communication and documentation skills.
