About the role
TL;DR
Manage accounting for US/UK entities, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.
- •Permutive is seeking a seasoned Controller or Senior Controller to manage the accounting function for its US and UK entities.
- •Reporting to the CFO, this hands-on role is responsible for the integrity of financial records, timely close processes, and full compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.
- •Key Responsibilities Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes end-to-end for US and UK entities.
- •Prepare US GAAP-compliant financial statements and manage the annual audit.
- •Drive revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription and usage-based contracts.
- •Oversee US and UK compliance, including tax filings, payroll, and statutory reporting.
- •Manage AP, AR, multi-currency cash, and bank reconciliations.
- •Requirements Extensive progressive accounting experience, primarily in-house at technology companies.
- •Hands-on command of both US GAAP and UK statutory reporting.
- •Experience with traditional SaaS and transactional revenue models, ideally at companies with $50M+ in revenue.
- •Experience with multi-entity, international groups.
- •Advanced Excel and ERP skills (NetSuite preferred).
