About the role
TL;DR
Builds full-stack AI software for satellite intelligence, from data models to interfaces.
- •You will be the technical engine of ICEYE Portugal, building full-stack software that transforms raw satellite intelligence into mission-critical decisions.
- •This role is a launchpad for growth into ICEYE's Forward Deployed Engineering track.
- •Key Responsibilities Engineer stateful, multi-agent workflows for deterministic agentic orchestration.
- •Architect hybrid RAG systems for geospatial data in constrained environments.
- •Optimize geospatial data performance for high-concurrency spatial engineering.
- •Integrate AI into real workflows and products, using AI-native engineering tooling.
- •Requirements 2-7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- •Full-stack capability (Python required, plus a typed language like Go, TypeScript, or Rust; comfort with React/TypeScript frontends).
- •Strong systems architecture fundamentals and database design skills.
- •Proficiency with AI (LLMs, RAG) and AI-native engineering tools.
- •Excellent communication in English and C2/near-native Portuguese.
