- •Auterion is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to develop and deploy real-time perception systems for autonomous aerial platforms.
- •This role involves working across the full stack, from classical computer vision and deep learning to embedded optimization and field testing.
- •Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize onboard perception algorithms for real-time detection and state estimation.
- •Train, retrain, and evaluate neural networks for detection and classification.
- •Optimize models and pipelines for embedded inference under strict latency and compute budgets.
- •Develop and maintain camera calibration and sensor synchronization procedures.
- •Plan and execute field test campaigns, taking algorithms from bench to flight.
- •Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent practical experience.
- •Strong hands-on experience deploying computer vision systems on resource-constrained platforms.
- •Solid grounding in classical computer vision and practical experience with deep learning for detection/classification.
- •Proficiency in C++ and Python, with real experience in OpenCV.
- •Comfort with field work, including debugging from real-world logs and video.
