Lead the next generation of Assembled's design system for AI-native products.
- •Assembled is seeking a Product Designer to lead the evolution of its design system.
- •This role involves defining the visual and interaction foundations of the product, creating components, patterns, and a design language that ensures cohesive, accessible, and high-quality user experiences across desktop and mobile.
- •You will also play a key role in defining design systems for AI-native products, establishing reusable patterns for human-AI collaboration.
- •Key Responsibilities Lead the next generation of Assembled's design system, defining visual language, interaction foundations, components, and patterns.
- •Establish the system's evolution process, including documentation, contribution models, and governance.
- •Define reusable interaction patterns for AI-native products, focusing on human-AI collaboration.
- •Pioneer AI-assisted design-system workflows in partnership with the Design Systems Engineer.
- •Extend the system by partnering with product teams to solve complex enterprise workflow challenges.
- •Requirements 4+ years of experience designing and shipping production B2B software, with significant design system ownership.
- •Exceptional visual craft and a high bar for design quality.
- •Strong systems thinking and a passion for creating reusable patterns.
- •Hands-on experience structuring Figma libraries, tokens, variables, and components.
- •Ability to collaborate fluently with frontend engineers on component APIs and implementation tradeoffs.
