TL;DR
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced semiconductor capital equipment.
- •As a Senior Field Service Engineer at ASM, you will be a technical expert supporting customers by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced semiconductor capital equipment.
- •You will ensure equipment performance, reliability, and safety while delivering exceptional customer service.
- •Key Responsibilities Perform installation, qualification, preventative maintenance, and repair on complex semiconductor capital equipment.
- •Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software issues in customer environments.
- •Provide timely and professional technical support to customers.
- •Collaborate with global teams to resolve complex issues and improve equipment performance.
- •Travel domestically and internationally (25-75%).
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or equivalent military technical training. 5+ years of field service, customer support, or semiconductor manufacturing experience with complex capital equipment.
- •Strong troubleshooting skills with microprocessor-controlled electro-mechanical systems.
- •Ability to read and interpret electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical schematics.
- •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
