- •Apify is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join the Integrations team.
- •Integrations are how Apify reaches people who never open Apify Console: they use Actors from inside Slack, HubSpot, Snowflake, n8n, Zapier, and Make, or through the AI agents and app builders that connect to Apify directly, from Claude to Replit and Lovable.
- •You’ll own these connections end to end, from the OAuth flow and the backend service behind it to the interface a user actually clicks.
- •Most of what you build ships inside someone else's product, passes their review, and is used by teams far outside Apify.
- •What you'll be working on: Ship integrations in two-week sprints.
- •You'll use the Apify platform yourself every day and improve the integrations backend it all runs on.
- •Plan each integration with the team's product manager, partnerships manager, and product marketing manager, deciding what to build and who it is for, then stay with it through launch and release.
- •Build the next version of the Apify Slack app: a conversational app that signs users in with their Apify account, answers in threads, and asks before it runs an Actor.
- •Build and maintain the plugins that connect Apify to AI agents and assistants, including Claude Code, OpenClaw, Goose, Dify, LangChain, and Microsoft Copilot.
- •Help shape how agents reach Apify through the open-source Apify MCP server, now past 11k stars on GitHub.
- •Most of our integration repos are public, so this work ships in the open.
- •Extend partner apps like HubSpot, Snowflake, and Pipedream, and take them through each marketplace's review.
- •Maintain and grow the nodes and apps Apify publishes on n8n, Zapier, Make, and other automation platforms.
- •Support the partners who build Apify into their own products: Replit and Lovable ship Apify integrations to their users, and the team keeps those surfaces documented, discoverable, and working.
- •Who we're looking for: Must-haves: 3+ years building production web applications, with real ownership on both the backend and the frontend.
- •Strong TypeScript/Node.js, or deep proficiency in another language and the drive to pick up TypeScript quickly.
- •Enough React to build and maintain a product UI yourself rather than hand it off.
- •Hands-on experience designing and consuming REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth flows.
- •Integrations are mostly other people's APIs, and they break.
- •Hands-on use of AI tools in your daily work, and the drive to keep up as they change.
- •Communication in English good enough to debug a problem with a partner's engineering team you have no authority over.
- •Nice-to-haves: Experience building apps for integration platforms such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or Slack.
- •Experience building for AI agents or LLM tooling, for example MCP servers, agent plugins, or tool-calling APIs.
- •Experience taking an app through a third-party marketplace review, for example Slack, HubSpot, or Snowflake.
- •Our tech stack: Frontend: React.js, styled-components, Storybook, Chromatic, Cypress, Playwright Backend: TypeScript/Node.js, Nest.js, Next.js, Docusaurus, Vitest Infra: AWS (Kubernetes on EKS, EC2, Lambda), Helm, Terraform, CloudFormation, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, S3, GitHub Actions Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Mezmo, Sentry, PagerDuty Tools: GitHub, Notion, Google Workspace, Slack OS, code editor, and AI assistant of your choice (Claude Premium with unlimited tokens, GH Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, or JetBrains AI) Process: two-week sprints, code reviews, tests, automating whatever we can, and deploying multiple times per day.
- •Role-specific tools: Slack Bolt, the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the HubSpot and Snowflake app platforms, and the n8n, Zapier, and Make developer platforms.
- •What we expect from you in the first 6 months: By the end of the first 3 months, we expect you to: Have shipped your first integration feature to production, from OAuth through to the UI.
- •Know which of the team's repositories owns what, and navigate the integrations backend without help.
- •Run and debug an integration locally against a partner sandbox on your own.
- •Have resolved at least one partner-side problem directly with that partner, such as a changed API or a failed review.
- •Have positive feedback from the team.
- •By the end of the first 6 months, we expect you to: Fully own at least one integration, including its roadmap and its partner relationship.
- •Be the person the team goes to for that integration.
- •Have shipped a feature that measurably increases sign-ups or active use through an integration.
- •Have taken an integration through a third-party marketplace review and gotten it listed.
- •Have improved something the whole team uses, such as the integrations backend, the release process, or the test setup.
