About the role
TL;DR
Allocate jobs efficiently and profitably by managing Transport Providers in France.
- •Join AnyVan's Allocations team as an Allocations Specialist for France.
- •You will be responsible for ensuring all jobs are efficiently and profitably covered by working with Transport Providers (TPs) in France.
- •Key Responsibilities Proactively pitch available jobs to TPs, primarily by phone, to ensure allocation.
- •Own the allocation process, manage pipelines, and assign jobs to TPs to keep them engaged.
- •Build and maintain strong relationships with your TP network, understanding their availability, vehicles, locations, and rates.
- •Negotiate competitive rates that benefit AnyVan, customers, and TPs.
- •Resolve issues quickly, handle last-minute cancellations, and re-allocate jobs as needed.
- •Requirements Experience in a commercial contact center/transport broker, transport coordinator, or live control/logistics role.
- •Fluency in speaking and writing French is mandatory.
- •Commercial approach with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- •Comfortable working towards and hitting targets.
- •Strong Excel skills for reporting and decision-making.
