About the role
TL;DR
Lead engineering teams, define technology strategy, and drive product development.
- •AMP is seeking a VP of Engineering to lead its technology function, managing diverse teams of software, robotics, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure engineers.
- •This role will collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the product roadmap and strategy.
- •Key Responsibilities Define and execute the company's technology vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- •Lead and scale the engineering organization across Facility Engineering, R&D, and Software Infrastructure.
- •Drive execution of hardware, software, and systems engineering programs, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- •Partner with the executive team to shape and operationalize the technology strategy.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in hardware-centric product organizations, with 4+ years at the Senior Director, VP, or equivalent executive level.
- •Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering organizations of 30+ engineers and technical leaders.
- •Proven track record of delivering products and technology programs that create measurable business value.
- •Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
