- •Airbnb is seeking a Senior Data Scientist, Trust (Inference) to join their Platform Data Science team.
- •This role will focus on detecting and defending against adversarial behavior on the platform to maintain guest and host trust.
- •Key Responsibilities Design and implement measurement and evaluation frameworks for Trust defenses.
- •Lead the design and analysis of experiments and quasi-experiments.
- •Build and iterate on statistical and Bayesian models for risk quantification and treatment effect estimation.
- •Generate insights and translate them into strategic recommendations for product roadmap and policy decisions.
- •Communicate complex methodological tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- •Requirements 5+ years of industry experience in a quantitative analysis role with a Master's degree in a quantitative field, or 2+ years of experience with PhD.
- •Deep expertise in experimentation and causal inference.
- •Strong knowledge of Bayesian modeling.
- •Skilled in statistical programming and database usage with strong coding skills in SQL and Python or R.
- •Demonstrated ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights and compelling narratives.
