• •CesiumAstro is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead and mentor engineering teams in developing cutting-edge phased array communication systems for space and airborne platforms.
• •This role involves technical leadership, product line execution, and contributing to the overall health and talent development of the engineering organization.
• •Key Responsibilities Lead and be responsible for technical, cost, and schedule performance for space applications.
• •Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and product line technical execution.
• •Foster an environment for rapid and agile prototype development and guide development teams.
• •Present engineering design review materials to customers and executive teams.
• •Motivate team members, facilitate interdisciplinary communications, and provide career development.
• •Requirements Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering; Master of Science (MS) preferred.
• •Minimum of 15 years of applicable experience in space avionics and communication systems design.
• •Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Manager or Director level position.
