• •Alpaca is seeking a Data Analyst to establish data-driven practices from the ground up.
• •You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to build essential data models, dashboards, and analyses.
• •Key Responsibilities Translate business questions into analytical insights and outputs.
• •Build and maintain analytics data models using SQL.
• •Develop and iterate on metrics and tables using dbt, surfacing them in Metabase dashboards.
• •Explore data deeply to answer open-ended questions and investigate trends.
• •Help operationalize data by identifying standardization opportunities.
• •Requirements Strong SQL fundamentals.
• •Familiarity with analytics engineering workflows (e.g., dbt).
• •Deep analytical intuition and ability to synthesize conclusions.
