Engineering Team Leader

Lead the Engineering shift and bridge engineering with wider operations.

• •As Engineering Team Leader, you’ll lead the full Engineering shift, supporting engineers through the day-to-day reality of a busy production environment while helping create a more connected, resilient and high-performing team.
• •You'll sit within the site engineering team and play a key role in bridging engineering with wider operations.
• •Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of engineers on shift, setting the tone for performance, accountability and engagement.
• •Drive strong cross-functional working with operations and other site teams.
• •Provide hands-on technical leadership during day-to-day engineering activity.
• •Coach and manage people effectively, holding regular conversations, giving feedback and helping individuals develop their capability.
• •Help bring structure and maturity to the function by identifying opportunities to improve ways of working.
• •Requirements Strong leadership experience from an engineering environment.
• •Technically credible, with a solid mechanical or electrical background.
• •A personable relationship-builder who can work well with different teams.
