Engineering Manager

Lead and manage engineering teams for Growth and AI initiatives at Acorns.

• •Acorns is seeking two exceptional Engineering Managers for two distinct teams: Growth and AI.
• •We are hiring one manager to spearhead our Growth engineering efforts, focusing on enhancing our customer acquisition funnel, and another to lead our AI team in integrating cutting-edge technologies to redefine financial wellness for our users.
• •Key Responsibilities Partner with Product and Design teams to ideate, implement, and analyze A/B tests aimed at improving our registration funnel conversion and other key growth metrics.
• •Guide your team in leveraging technologies like AWS Bedrock, RAG, and Agentic architectures to build and deploy innovative AI features and products, including our "Ask Acorns" in-app chatbot.
• •Lead, mentor, and develop a high-impact engineering team.
• •Work with your manager and team to establish priorities, including new features, infrastructure, and tool building.
• •Drive accountability by improving team processes, communication, and delegation of tasks and projects.
• •Requirements A proven track record in Growth engineering, including hands-on experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
• •Deep familiarity with AI/ML concepts and technologies, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), AWS Bedrock, RAG, or similar platforms.
