Platform Engineer - Multicloud

Build cloud-portable infrastructure for Supabase.

• •We're looking for a Platform Engineer to join our Compute Team and help us build cloud-portable infrastructure.
• •Key Responsibilities Audit existing infrastructure components to identify cloud-specific dependencies and build a structured, actionable migration backlog Design and implement cloud-agnostic abstractions over compute, networking, and storage layers Maintain and evolve our Kubernetes-based workload orchestration to run portably across cloud environments Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams to ensure new work is built with multi-cloud portability in mind from the start Contribute to architecture decisions around target cloud environments and colocated infrastructure options Requirements Have 8+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering Have experience working with multi-cloud environments at scale Are experienced with Kubernetes and comfortable running it across multiple environments (AWS, GCP, and Azure) Have worked with Pulumi or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling Have been through at least one cloud abstraction, portability, or re-platforming initiative Communicate clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences Have experience in async or globally distributed teams Are energized by solving real-world problems for developers Are comfortable navigating ambiguity and moving quickly
