About the role
TL;DR
Lead technical accounting and financial reporting, implementing policies and building the function from scratch.
- •Etched is building hardware for frontier intelligence, focusing on inference workloads.
- •We are seeking a Head of Technical Accounting to establish and lead our financial reporting and accounting initiatives.
- •Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end revenue accounting policies under ASC 606.
- •Partner with Go-to-market, Legal, and Deal Desk on revenue treatment for new products and contracts.
- •Implement and ensure compliance of Netsuite's Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
- •Research and document positions on complex accounting issues.
- •Lead preparation of external financial statements and footnote disclosures.
- •Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or corporate technical accounting/revenue roles.
- •Deep expertise in ASC 606 and broad technical accounting knowledge across GAAP.
- •Experience with SEC reporting and public company requirements strongly preferred.
- •Prior people management experience.
