About the role
TL;DR
Build and maintain supplier integrations using web crawlers and APIs.
- •As a Python Web Crawler & PunchOut Integration Engineer, you'll connect hundreds of suppliers to Lio's procurement platform by building robust web crawlers, PunchOut integrations, and direct webshop APIs.
- •Your work is critical to enabling seamless access to supplier catalogues, pricing, and product data for Lio's customers.
- •Key Responsibilities Build and maintain supplier integrations using web crawlers, PunchOut (OCI & cXML), and direct webshop APIs.
- •Reverse engineer supplier websites and APIs to create reliable integrations.
- •Develop async Python services using modern networking and browser automation.
- •Extract and normalize product, pricing, and availability data.
- •Debug production issues and continuously improve integration reliability and performance.
- •Requirements 4+ years of professional Python experience.
- •Strong experience with web crawling, scraping, API development, or API reverse engineering.
- •Solid knowledge of asyncio, httpx, HTTP, browser automation, and REST APIs.
- •Experience with HTML, JSON, XML, MongoDB, and Pydantic.
- •Excellent debugging skills and an ownership mindset.
